About Me

Faith Mayme Pfeifer was born on December 27, 2010 with Spina Bifida. I have been truly inspired and touched by the Pfeifer family and Faith's journey. It is my goal here to run 1,000 miles by Faith's birthday while raising $1,000 for Faith and her family. If you can or want to make a donation, please click on the Give button on the side of the page (you do NOT have to give $50...that number is just defaulted in there). Once you get to the site you get to type in the amount you would like to donate. No donation is too small and I am grateful for all you do in helping me take on this challenge. I will begin this challenge on May 2, 2011 and my completion date will be December 27, 2011.

I'm Back

I am sorry for not keeping up with the blogging like I should be, but I promise I am back starting now. I have kept up the running just haven't found the time to blog it or put it on the mile tracker.

I have had a lot of interest in people donating miles. I have done a lot of thinking and contemplating on this because I felt that since I had set the goal of running 1,000 miles, it would be like I was cheating if I let others run them for me, but because there is such a strong interest, I say let's do it. I will still run my 1,000 but if you would like to run and donate miles you are more than welcome to do that and they will be tracked on this site as well.

The only way for your miles to show up on the tracker is if they go through me...so if you want to run and donate, if you could e-mail your name and also your number of miles to me at runningforfaith@hotmail.com I will make sure they get added in. I want to be able to share with the other followers who is adding miles with us.

Our first mile donors are MIC AND FAITH. I was so excited to get the e-mail with pictures from their 1.5 mile run. :)
